The Over the Edge swing: tickets and rules
The swing costs €7.50 online on top of your entry ticket, and a ride lasts about a minute.
You book it in the same 20-minute slot as your entry. None of the three GetYourGuide tickets includes it.
- Height: at least 1.20 m (3 ft 11 in). The site states no minimum age.
- Weight: two seats, up to 200 kg (441 lb) together.
- Bring nothing: no phones, backpacks or loose items on the swing.

Take the free F3 ferry from behind Amsterdam Centraal to Buiksloterweg. The crossing takes about four minutes.
Then turn left and walk along the water to the entrance. The address is IJpromenade 4, across from the EYE Film Museum.
The F3 runs day and night, about every 5 minutes. The IJ ferries are free for people on foot and on bikes.
If you're 18 or over, the Heineken Experience is the other big ticket in town. It has a rooftop bar too.
